With a wonderful garnet-red color in the glass, the Alvis Drift Signature Cabernet Sauvignon smells seductively of fruity ripe blackberries and subtle hints of vanilla, chocolate and Christmas fruit cake . On the palate, it is strong with well-balanced tannins that give it a dense and long-lasting mouthfeel.
Winemaker Linley Schultz has helped Alvi's Drift achieve a great breakthrough with his winemaking skills in recent years. Although completely unknown a few years ago, his wines now grace the shelves of almost all serious wine merchants in the Cape.
