The Lheraud Vintage 1977 Fins Bois Cognac is a wonderful cask-strength offering from this artisan house.  At 46°, it's powerful yet well-rounded, and can be enjoyed in a number of ways.  Of course, there's the traditional; neat, in a balloon glass, and allowed to gently warm in the hand for some minutes before drinking.  It's also perfectly suited to be poured over ice - or you can even add a few drops of water to subtly alter the taste sensation.

And while some might think it sacrilige, this authorative Cognac has more than enough substance to be enjoyed with your favorite mixer.  It also pairs beautifully with a strong, bitter coffee, or as an accompaniment to a cigar.  Whatever way you choose to drink this Fins Bois eaux-de-vie, you can be sure of a roller-coaster experience for the senses.  Aromatic, flavorsome, with a satisfyingly lengthy finish, this Cognac would make a wonderful addition to any drinks cabinet.

The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
