Ledaig 10 yo (43%, OB, +/-2009) Isle of Mull

ledaig isle of mull single malt scotch whisky, aged 10 years

Colour: White wine.

Nose: Peaty/soaky mashiness, butter, grated ginger, ale, then tarry rope and a little tincture of iodine. And heavily peppered porridge.

Mouth: It’s good! Good body, good peat, quite some salt, cough drops, other medicinal notes, something leathery, tobacco…. Lemonade and ginger tonic.

Finish: Medium long, saltier.
