Highland Park 'Ice Edition' Aged 17 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 53.9% vol, 700ml. With original stand (slight damage to stand).

Colour: Dark straw.

Aroma: Resplendent aromas of cool, fresh pineapple and ripe mango sorbet, with silvery shards of smoke and a frosty kick of root ginger.

Flavor: Powerful yet mellifluous, with a combination of argent, misty peat smoke intertwined with pearly iridescent vanilla seeds and overtones of molten orris root.

Texture: Smooth and well-balanced, with a rich mouthfeel.

Finish: Beautifully balanced, with a creamy, rich, oily finish that snowballs into long lingering woodiness and dry, feverish spices.

In celebration of this, and as a nod to Niflheim, one of the nine worlds of old Norse mythology and the birthplace of ice, frost and fog, we created Ice Edition 17 Year Old. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, Ice Edition offers aromas of cool, fresh pineapple, and ripe mango sorbet, and is balanced with spicy smoke and ginger root. A special release with an ABV of 53.9%, it was released in spring 2016.
