1999 Dow’s LBV Port

This was an easy drinking port. Nice and raisiny (paired pretty nicely with a sticky date cake).

Brick color with violet nuances. It is a wine dominated by notes of black fruit, plums and cherries, combined with notes of tea and spices. Tannins soft and sweet, combine with a sober and firm acidity.
