A bottle of elegantly packaged VSOP from veteran Cognac house Frapin, blended from eaux-de-vie made exclusively from grapes from the Grande Champagne region of Cognac.

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Very rounded, jammy, soft, with quite some caramel and corn syrup. A very discreet tarry touch, and a general feeling of Georgian or Armenian brandy.

Mouth: Good, with some honey, toasted bread, roasted nuts, some tea, apricot jam, and rather a lot of caramel.
