Burn Brae Ltd Match Whisky 5 Year Old 1970’s

Nose
Sweet honey and candied fruits, old cough syrup (menthol) and caramel. It reminds me a little of Fisherman's Friends cough sweets but more subtle. Finally peaches in syrup.

Taste
Nice first attack, I thought it was thin but then the tongue gets coated in sweetness. Sweet with a sherbet fizz and a little salted caramel but actually its more like peanut brittle.

There is some fruit but it is in the background, mainly peach and mango

Finish Approaching medium length with a nice coffee sweetness.
