Amaroné Classico - Giacomo Montresor - 2013

Offers hearty fruit flavours, a generous body and cosy warmth. Very rich and aromatic, with delicate scents of dried fruit.

The grapes were dried for 3 months in the air and the wine developed some months in oak barrels. Amarone means the 'great bitter', the air dried fruit tempers this bitterness, giving a wine with complexity and depth of fruit.

Goes well with red meats, mushroom dishes and cheese. Currently out of stock. Awaiting new vintage.
