2018 Kopp Wein Spatburgunder Trocken Baden

Johannes Kopp is one of the best winemakers in Germany and Pinot Noir is one of his specialties along with Riesling. So it's definitely worth giving this dry Pinot Noir a chance.

The drop is fruity and wonderfully harmonious and at least (!) as elegant as the Pinot Noirs from the French neighborhood. So, pour and enjoy! The eye is delighted by the deep colour that sparkles in the glass.

The nose is enveloped by a whole grain full of aromas; a fruit basket in which, for example, small dark cherries and wild berries from the forest lie. On a second level, spices such as cinnamon and cloves become noticeable as well as fresh herbs.

Finally, on the palate, this characterful red wine inspires with its mineral tension, with gentle tannins and a soft finish.
