Palate: Full-bodied and well-structured, with flavors echoing the nose—sour cherries, white pepper, licorice, dark chocolate, and coffee. The wine has a chewy, spicy mouthfeel, with a touch of toastiness. 

Finish: Long and lingering, with a warm, peppery, and slightly toasty finish.
