2016 Dom Bella Dao Touriga Nacional Portugal

In the village of Prime, parish of Fragosela, close to the city of Viseu, it is an extensive property of approximately 70 hectares that runs along the banks of the Dão River. The vineyard, which has been partially re-planted and expanded through new planting, currently occupies an area of 25 hectares devoted to the Touriga Nacional and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, with an additional 8 hectares of vines planned. Located at an altitude of around 380 metres, with unique microclimatic conditions, the property benefits from the proximity of the Dão river, excellent exposure and high quality granite sand soils, also known as "rotten granite" or "noble granite" soils.

Intense ruby color. Excellent aromatic profile, fine and delicate, with complex aromas. Its palate is intensely fruity, with notes of fresh fruit and spices. It is elegant and balanced, with a subtle finish, as only a Dão wine can have.
