2000s The Glenlivet 12 Year Old

Colour: Light amber.

Nose: Vanilla with some hot butter and oak. Tarte tatin, caramel, vanilla crème… Hints of liquorice.

Mouth: Some nice liquorice roots, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla crème, and yes, quite some oak and white pepper. It develops on crystallised orange zest.

The finish is quite longtouches of caramel. A nice mouth, very compact and appealing; the nose was so simple.
