1999 SMWS 4.152  “ Hay bales in a limestone cave “ Highland Park 11 Year Old 1st Fill Ex Bourbon Cask 61.7% Abv 

Colour: Straw. 

Nose: Big, Raspberry & strawberries, candied oranges & light peat smoke .  With water: some kind of salted lemon curd. Some dried herbs and a little charcoal smoke. Curry powder and mustard appear. 

Mouth: Hints of honey and very light, peppery peat. With water: fatter with water. Develops an easy more textural ‘presence’ in the mouth. Some juicy watermelon sweetness and  more seashore mineral notes.

Finish: Long with quite a big bready element.
