1991 Baron Gaston Legrand Bas Armagnac

This premium brandy is made from hand-selected grapes that are distilled and then aged in oak barrels for over three decades, resulting in a complex and smooth flavor profile. With notes of vanilla, dark fruit, and a hint of spice, this brandy is perfect for sipping neat or mixed into a cocktail. The same source also mentions that the bottle size is 700ml, the ABV is 40%, and the Armagnac age is 1991.

Bright and firm, polished and round though , smooth in many ways and a very dangerously welcoming one. Nice rich palate feel and with a lot of depth and intensity without ever becoming too alc fwd.

Colour: Deep amber. 

Nose: Menthol, liquorice and  green walnuts.

Mouth : Bursts with passion fruits and grapefruits after just three seconds. And pears. Very good, more raisiny, fresh… And the peaches are back. Peaches in syrup.

Finish: Rather long, candied and prune-y,. More pepper in the aftertaste.
