1988 Leopold Carrère Vintage Armagnac

The Bas Armagnac area, SE of Bordeaux, has fertile topsoil which produces light, dry wines with good acidity. These make the best spirits

when distilled. This is a fine example and at a great price for a labelled vintage. The Carrère family are well renowned artisanal producers.

Has a medium body, with notes of figs, prunes and violets on the nose and palate.
