1981 Real Companhia Velha Royal Oporto Late Bottled Vintage Port

Real Companhia Velha, also known as Royal Oporto Wine Company, is the oldest and most emblematic wine company in Portugal, founded in 1756 by Royal Charter of King D. José I. The company’s centuries-old cellars are located in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the left bank of the Douro river, opposite Oporto. They store a vast selection of Port Wines Tawny – aged in oak barrels – as well as Vintage Port, maintaining the prestige and reputation this house enjoys over 250 years.
