Très Vieille, Grande Champagne, Original carton box. The age of the blend is at least 30 years, but average is app. 50-60 years. The certificate from Hine states that it is an exceptional blend of cognacs of great cask age.
Hine is a well-known manufacturer of Cognac that has been producing the brandy for over 250 years. The Hine House is located bon the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France.
The brand was founded in 1763 by Thomas Hine, who was an Englishman from Dorset.
Colour: Dark amber.
Nose: Fruity and touches of mushrooms, as well as many kinds of raisins. Also whiffs of orange squash and aniseed biscuits, which adds even more freshness. Earthy oranges.
Mouth: It certainly wins on the palate. Fresh, fruity, and well perfect. Various old-orange liqueurs.
Finish: Medium, marrowy and raisiny. Some typical camphory touches in the aftertaste, as well as some cooked and caramelised honey.
